    Welcome to Hummingbird Press, the website of CathyJean Clark

    Hummingbird Press is the private art/printmaking studio of CathyJean Clark and Richard Clark.  The studio isStudio, upstairs area
    located on an original farmstead in Central Wisconsin near the scenic Black River.

    The studio is 1660 square feet with the lower level a dedicated intaglio printmaking area and drawing area.  It has a medium Sturges CP5 press, work areas, three medium litho rollers,  and flat files for storage.  The etching area is separate from the work area with an outside exhaust system. 

    Upstairs is the dedicated clean area for matting, framing and storage. This area also has a small living area with kitchen and bath and a great view of the beautiful rolling hills and woods of the Black River area.

    Four Moons has been accepted into "From Dublin to LA and Back"  a printmaking exhibit between the Los Angeles Printmaking Society and the Black Church Print Studio, Dublin Ireland.   The exhibit will run in January 2012.  http://www.monstertruck.ie

    Hudson Hospital Healing Arts Program, Hudson Hospital   Hudson, WI

    My work will be at the Hudson Hospital as part of the collaboration program between the hospital and the Phipps Center for the Arts.

    The exhibit runs between September 21 - January 15, 2012 in the Conference Center of the Hospital.  A reception will take place Nov 18, 2011.

    I have been very productive getting a series of smaller monoprints finished but I finally got a larger print, the size I normally work in finished.

    The piece is, A Long Journey is a mixed media intaglio monoprint imagae size 24" x 18".
